Peer Munck
President & Executive Producer

Advances in technology have made it possible to create efficient business models for bringing recorded music to market.  Peer founded MunckMix to explore the opportunities created by this new environment, seeking to combine his passion for music with his business expertise to help musicians generate additional income by making live recordings of their concerts available to the public at a fair price.  

Prior to forming MunckMix, Peer accumulated over 15 years of management consulting experience as a Partner in Strategic Planning Associates in Washington, D.C. (a spin-off from the Boston Consulting Group) and later as the leader of the Digital Strategy practice of Diamond Technology Partners in Chicago. During his management and technology consulting career, Peer tackled a variety of business issues in multiple industries, including manufacturing, retailing, communications, utilities, financial services, distribution, packaging materials, apparel, and consumer products.

Peer also has extensive entrepreneurial and hands-on operational experience from establishing and running companies in the cargo-handling, apparel manufacturing, and foodservice distribution industries.

Peer holds a BS degree from Cornell University, and an MBA from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.

Damon Westjohn
Operations Manager

Damon runs the day to day operations of MunckMix and manages our fulfillment center in Northfield, IL as well as the venue fulfillment operations for the touring bands and music festivals we work with.  He has a deep love of music and an in-depth knowledge of the history and lineage of the various bands and musicians we work with.

In addition to his daily operational responsibilities, Damon has also been instrumental in developing MunckMix' unique capabilities in instant venue fulfillment of CDs; a service whereby concertgoers can take home a recording of the performance they just attended immediately after the show.

Prior to joining MunckMix, Damon was a video commercials producer for AT&T Broadband in South Bend, IN.

Damon holds a BS degree in Communications and Electronic Media from Indiana University.

Eli Kelly
Chief Audio Engineer

Eli is responsible for planning and executing the technical aspects of MunckMix' many recording, mixing, and mastering projects. This includes equipment architecture, process design, personnel training, and field recording activities.  A "seasoned listener", Eli also spearheads our mixing and mastering activities on the road..

Prior to joining MunckMix, Eli was a pro audio specialist and sound engineer with Gand Music & Sound in Chicago.  

Eli holds a BS degree in Recording Industry Production & Technology from Middle Tennessee State University.
